Services Offered

Forensic Auditing

FABC Advisors PLLC provides forensic auditing services to identify fraud and malfeasance. We will determine what the scheme was, if one existed, who was involved, collect the evidence and report the results back to management or counsel hired by management.

A forensic audit is not a typical audit done by a normal accounting firm. Forensic auditing is performed when suspected fraudulent activity is involved. Forensic auditing takes specialized skill, training, and knowledge not possessed by all accountants. Our individual staff members have more than 20 years experience in forensic accounting. This experience allows us to know what questions to ask, where to look for issues, and just an overall inquisitive personality driving us to find the errors in the records.

FABC Advisors PLLC has extensive experience in identifying fraudulent transactions, collecting evidence, working with legal counsel, and testifying in court as to the results of the transactions.

Litigation Support & Expert Witness

Rob has testified as an expert witness in several civil and criminal court cases. He has prepared for trial in many others that have successfully been settled through financial settlements or plea agreements. Rob will do the vast majority of the forensic audit during the investigation which allows him to be intimately familiar with the case when it comes time to testify. Rob will be the person who testifies when trial comes.

Having an experienced witness is imperative during all the stages of the investigation. An experienced expert witness will know what is going to be important for trial and how to properly document the facts uncovered in the case. It also allows them to prepare documents that are acceptable in court, understandable, and clear to its end users.

Business Valuation

Business valuation is not something that should be left to any accountant. There are certain certificates that are in place to ensure the indidual has enough knowledge and experience to perform the business valuation. The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) authorizes certain CPAs to use the ABV designation once they have demonstrated knowledge and experience in business valuation.

Rob holds the ABV designation and will perform any buisness valuations performed by our company.
